ECU Capacitor Replacement Service

This purchase is for a mail-in service and includes labor, parts, and return shipping of your ECU. Service covers repair/replacement of every major capacitor susceptible to failure, 8 in total. service is applicable to all Honda/Acura OBD1 USDM and JDM computers. Some ECUs are now more than 30 years old and factory installed capacitors are reaching life expectancy. Caps are prone to leaking and damaging the board over time. New Capacitors are cheap insurance to prolong the life of your ECU.

Please note, not all boards utilize of 8 capacitors and may only use 7.

Typical turnaround time is 1-3 days based on current workload from the time your ECU is received.

If your ECU is found to be unserviceable, your ECU will be returned and you will be issued a refund, minus a $5 diagnostic fee and listed shipping cost.
