ECU Q31 Repair Service

$35.00

This purchase is for a mail-in service and includes labor, parts, and return shipping of your ECU. Service covers repair of your computers Q31 transistor. This component is destroyed when computer powers on with the IAT (intake air temperature sensor) and purge valve (located at the back of the intake manifold) are switched. It should be mentioned the IAT sensor can possibly be damaged or melted in this scenario. Inspection and testing of this sensor should also be considered. If wiring issue is not corrected, issue can reoccur following repair. Burn marks on inside of top and bottom ECU covers or a burning smell are also red flags of Q31 damage.

Typical turnaround time is 1-3 days based on current workload from the time your ECU is received.

If your ECU is found to be unserviceable, your ECU will be returned and you will be issued a refund, minus a $5 diagnostic fee and listed shipping cost. If you would like to confirm if your OBD1 ECU is eligible for modification please do not hesitate to reach out and we'll do our best to answer any and all questions you may have.
